Preschool Structure and Management
Our Preschool is an Incorporated Association registered Not-For-Profit with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission. It does not profit from the provision of funds for the preschool program. All monies generated from funding, grants and parent fees are used to provide our comprehensive program and pleasing environment.
Our Parent Management Committee is made up of parent volunteers just like you, who assist in the bigger picture of our service. The management committee is elected each year to represent the interests of all members of our association. To join as a member, all you need to do is fill in the section in the enrolment form.
As a member, you are then entitled to vote on decisions made at Parent Management Committee meetings, in particular the Annual General Meeting. You can hold specific positions on the Parent Management Committee. The positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 3 Ordinary Members.
The Parent Management Committee generally meets monthly. All parents are welcome to come and share ideas and contribute to discussions whether they hold a specific position or not.
